A weakened skin barrier allows dirt and other harmful elements to penetrate the skin – causing blemishes imperfections – and fails to prevent moisture loss. This cream is 70% centella asiatica extract – also known as ‘cica’ – which helps maintain and repair the skin’s barrier, and calms the skin, reducing redness and inflammation. A combination of three different types of exfoliating acids – citric acid (AHA), salicylic acid (BHA) and lactobionic acid (PHA) – gently exfoliates the skin at all different depths, unclogging pores and reducing the chance for breakouts to develop. It also contains niacinamide, which reduces fine lines and wrinkles; increases ceramide production which strengthens the skin's barrier, helping it retain moisture and giving it a healthier and more youthful appearance; regulates the skin's sebum (oil) production; and fights hyperpigmentation.
