We’ve been working really hard for months on the perfect dress. There have been weeks of fit testing, sampling and designing around five years of feedback from what our customers wanted most. We were tired of dresses that were made to fall apart, didn’t fit different body types properly, or couldn’t be styled for every occasion. We created a classic, comfortable wrap design, with a slight puff detailing at the sleeves, in perfect midi and maxi lengths that you could wear to a wedding, or to work. Fabric Our hand-woven Khadi fabric is made mostly by women spinners and weavers at a fair wage facility in Gopuri, central India. Every aspect of this fabric has been created by hand, from the spinning of the fibres to the weaving. This creates more employment for communities who really need it and means that there are a few more irregularities and quirks to the cloth, but we think it adds to its charm. How to care for your Khadi: due to its hand finished nature, this fabric may experience shrinkage and colour transfer on first wash. Please wash on your coolest setting, and with similar colours.
